Optimization using virtualization with 2 main goals :
- Create a Private Cloud based on 3 datacenters in France, in Germany and the USA
- Reduce costs, including those of ownership et increase the ROI
My job has been defined in 5 majors actions :
- Give an assistance to "relocation" project team, to make their objectives and those of « Virtualization & Cloud Computing » project compatible
- Define the new service catalog & the targeted architectures
- Participate in workshops avec the outsourcer to define the expected service catalog
- Define new processes (technical and management) to shorten provisioning requests
- Participate in workshops to define the technical solutions to build the private cloud
From March 2009 to February 2011 : Storage & Virtualization Expert - Euriware Service Desk
In a ITIL based service desk, manage et support storage and VMware virtualization solutions :
- 23 Storage Arrays in heterogenous environments, more than 800 virtual machines, 23 Clusters and 130 ESX & ESXi servers
- Production management for the AREVA Group, problem management with the different providers, Automation and industrialization of operationnal processes and reporting
- Design of new architectures, Sizing, Fault-Tolerance, Load-Balancing
From October 2006 to March 2009 : Project technical coordinator - Euriware Service Desk
Project for AREVA France
Transfer of SAN and VMware technical support activities for AREVA in Paris, inside 2 resilients datacenters
Definition of documentation needs and writing in line with the ISO 9001 certification
Audit to observe expected load levels to help the management team to define the required ressources to transfer the operational activity. Regular reporting.
Project for DCNSGroup France
Responsible for coordinating the required actions launched by "infrastrutures" teams & "Project et development" teams of DCNSGroup, to deploy "Windchill", a PLM used to design new ships.
Writing of the "Infrastructures" documents related to the projet, respecting the quality standard of the client.
From September 2004 to September 2006 : UNIX System Engineer - Euriware Service Desk
Technical support of UNIX systems used by the customers of the Production Centre. Deployment of automation processes for all daily tasks : Setup of new servers, Reporting of servers activity, Incdents tracking.
From April 2004 to September 2004 : Internship - Development of an automation tool
This tool is aimed at automating the differents daily tasks for level 1 application support, realized for UNIX Systems.
